i have currently started a research on voip api for palm devices. this is the first time that i'm doing voip. i have searched on different existing protocols like h.323... unfortunately i don't know which one is the best to be used.
my main objective is to be able to call another palm device using wifi through a local network.
since i am a beginner, can anyone guide me where to start and what to research on?

does anyone know any downloadble voip api to be used in my project?

this api that i am developing will be open source code and i will share the source code after it is developed.
